Somatic Therapy
You Understand All of It, and Nothing Has Moved
You know your history. You name the patterns, trace them back, and explain exactly where they came from.
And your anxiety still spikes.
The depressive stretches still take your work and your life with them.
Grief you thought you’d finished still arrives years later.
One trigger still wipes out a whole day.
Somewhere in there, the question shows up: “Why isn’t the needle moving?”
You’ve felt some comfort along the way, but you still react.
What you want is to feel calm enough to respond.
Your Insight Went as Far as Insight Goes
What you’ve worked through is monumental.
Naming what happened to you is honest, difficult work, and you did it. The next part of the work belongs to your body.
Your mind knows exactly why you reach for food when what you’re really asking for is soothing. The reaching happens anyway.
Your mind has never once argued your body out of fight, flight, or freeze.
Those shifts get noticed lower down, through the body itself.
If you’ve come across The Body Keeps the Score, you already know the idea. We don’t have to go back through every detail for this to work.
Your Body Has Been Speaking All Along
It will tell you what you need most of the time.
My method walks you through a new way of listening to yourself, through your body.
We work mostly in the present moment, with your body as it is right now.
Your body’s reactions take us back in time on their own. The dots connect from there. And together, we get to unwire the wiring of your nervous system.
Let Your Body Attend the Session
When your body comes into the room as a participant, it has plenty to say.
It lets you know when you need a break. It tells you when you’re being hurt. It speaks up when you’re carrying too much of everyone else’s load.
Befriend the Body You Had to Leave
You left it for good reasons, back when leaving was the safest thing available.
Some of the people who come to me carry long-standing physical symptoms alongside the anxiety.
They tell me that as their nervous system spends less of its day in survival mode, their body has an easier time of it.
The growth I’ve watched someone experience from befriending their own body still amazes me.
People start to see themselves again.
You were worth it the whole time. What we’re doing here is finding you again. Not just the you you have a narrative about in your mind, but the you that has always been in there, the one you were born to be.

Bring Your Body With You
Whenever you’re ready, message me through the site or just email me.
Our first conversation is unhurried. You’ll do most of the talking. What you’ve already tried, and where it left you.
If it feels right to both of us, the paperwork is short. You pick the time.
I see adults and teens online, anywhere in Wyoming.
Come as you are, and bring your body with you.
Asking for Help Is the First Step
Asking for help is the first and sometimes hardest step toward healing. There’s no right way to do it. Reach out however feels most comfortable to you, and we’ll set up a time to meet, talk, and see whether we feel that connection.
Therapy should feel welcomed and safe, never dreaded. Whoever you are and whoever you love, you're welcome here exactly as you are.
